Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-17
This policy explains what UnDiscord collects and why. In short: your Discord messages and auth token never leave your browser, and we keep only the minimum needed to run the free limit, accounts, and payments.
What we do NOT collect
- Your message content. Deletions happen locally in your browser; message text is never sent to us.
- Your Discord auth token. It stays in your browser's local storage and is used only to call Discord directly.
What we do collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Anonymous install id and daily deletion counts (keyed by Discord account id) | To enforce the free daily limit before you sign in. |
| Account email and sign-in provider (if you create an account) | To identify your account and license. |
| Linked Discord account ids | To apply your license and the per-account limit. |
| Purchase/entitlement status | To grant Lifetime features. Payment card details are handled by our provider, not us. |
| Diagnostic events (e.g. failed deletions, rate limits) with extension version | To fix bugs and keep the tool reliable. No message content or tokens. |
| Per-run summary (chosen speed mode, number of messages deleted/failed, rate-limit responses, duration), keyed by your account or Discord account id | To help you if you contact support about a blocked or rate-limited account, and to tune the safe defaults. Kept for 180 days. No message content. |
Where it's stored
Account and usage data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Diagnostic events go to Google Cloud Logging. Both run under our Google Cloud project. Payments are processed by Monetize, which stores billing data under its own privacy policy.
Third parties
- Google Firebase / Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, logging.
- Monetize — payment processing for Lifetime purchases.
- Discord — the extension talks to Discord's API using your session; this is governed by Discord's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Data retention
Daily usage counters expire automatically after a short period. Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and its linked data at any time from your account page.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your account data. To delete everything we hold about your account, use “Delete account” on the account page, or email us.
